Sales Director
Role Overview
The Sales Director role is a high-performance, critical role within the organisation that will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The sales director's responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales Director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned segments and accounts.
· Work directly with the Vice President of Revenue to develop and execute our strategy and pipeline plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
· Management of pipeline, forecasting, and sales updates with high accuracy.
· Effectively manages pipeline, forecasting, and sales updates with a high degree of accuracy.
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
· Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
· Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
· Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
· Leads and develops an account strategy using client growth plans, budget and project timelines.
· Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
· Oversee the management, development and recruitment of sales staff.
· Drive the successful implementation and adoption of the sales and marketing automation platforms.
· Be an active and valued member of the wider management team.
· Help set the culture and values of the business by modelling the behaviours expected of the team.
· Day-to-day management of your direct reports, including 1:1s, quarterly reviews and goal setting.

Qualifications & Skills:
· Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
· Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
· Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
· Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
· Proven ability to position products against competitors
· Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Turkish and English
· BA/BS degree or equivalent.
